You can download all of our simulators and trial them for free!
Our demo downloads are fully working versions of our simulators. They are time-limited, and will run for thirty days from the time you first download them. They have the same features as the full versions. Unlike the full versions, they will not run on a network.
If you would like to trial our software, here's what you do:
- Download the software and install it on your computer.
- On the downloads page, click on the 'Demo' link in the Licence Activation column next to the product that you have installed.
- When you've registered, you'll receive a 30-day trial Licence Code. This will appear on-screen after you register and it will also be emailed to you.
- Run your newly installed Crocodile Clips software. A licence dialog will open. Click "edit" and copy your Licence Code and registration details to activate the product.
Installing from a demo CD
If you already have a demo CD and do not wish to download the latest software from our website, here's what you do:
- On the downloads page, click on the 'Demo' link in the Licence Activation column next to the product that you would like to install.
- When you've registered, you'll receive a 30-day trial Licence Code. This will appear on-screen after you register and it will also be emailed to you.
- Put the CD into the computer's CD-ROM drive. It should run automatically. Choose the demo that you want from the startup screen and follow the installation wizard.
- You will need to enter your trial Licence Code during the installation. You will then be able to use the software for 30 days.
As well as allowing you to make your own simulations, the Crocodile Clips demo software includes a set of example models that you can use. These are also supplied with the full version. To access the examples, choose the 'Examples' section from the side pane.

Please note: the demo versions are only licensed for use on one computer, for evaluation purposes. You can not use them on more than one computer at a time, or for teaching students.
