Crocodile ICT is a powerful tool for teaching control and programming.

A simple flowchart interface lets students write sequences of instructions to control either human characters or on-screen animations, making complex programming concepts easily accessible to all.
Each character has many actions - dance steps, movements and interactions - which you control. Link as many as you wish, in any order - so each student creates their own sequence.
The characters engage all students - whether or not they're already interested in programming and control.
You can start with simple routines, and move on to cover more complex topics, including loops - using variables to count repeated instructions - and functions, with or without parameters.
