Crocodile Mathematics: text box problems

Several minor issues with text boxes. Under certain circumstances use of the text box in Crocodile Mathematics v401 can cause the programme to freeze.
Risk of this occurring can be minimised by avoiding circumstances where the text box scroll bar appears. To these ends, it is best to enlarge the text box (using the circular points on its frame) before the amount of text you are typing 'overflows' causing the scroll bar to appear.

Manipulating a text box in a file saved in a previous version of Crocodile Mathematics may cause the application to freeze. Solution: Open the file in Crocodile Mathematics 1.3 (or the version in which you first saved the file). Enlarge the text box so that it contains plenty of extra room. Save the file. Opening the file and manipulating the text box in Crocodile Mathematics v401 should no longer cause a freeze.

Font type and size may be reported wrongly. Fonts and text size can be changed and saved, but the state of text may not be correctly reported in the text box control pane. This should not cause a crash.

Text may flow outwith the text box. This can happen for a number of reasons including use of a mouse scroll wheel while the text box is selected. Under these circumstances the application may freeze. It is recommended that in the event of text appearing outside the text box you immediately use the main application scroll bar, on the right hand side of the Crocodile Mathematics window, to position the text box more centrally in the mathspace. Then deselect the text box (by clicking away from it).
